By accessing or using Joblink io ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Joblink io is a South African job platform that connects job seekers with employment opportunities. The Platform provides:

• Job listing aggregation via the Adzuna API
• AI-powered job matching and recommendations
• Application tracking and management
• CV tailoring services (paid)
• Career development tools

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using Google authentication. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to access another user's account
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data without authorization
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Upload malicious code or content

5. Job Listings

Job listings on our Platform are sourced from the Adzuna API and third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any job listing. We are not responsible for:

• The content of third-party job listings
• The hiring decisions of employers
• The accuracy of salary or requirement information
• The application process on third-party sites

6. CV Tailoring Service

Our CV tailoring service is a paid feature. By purchasing this service:

• You agree to pay the stated fee for the selected service
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Services are non-refundable once delivered
• We do not guarantee job interviews or employment as a result of using our CV tailoring service
• The AI-generated CV is a tool and should be reviewed by you before submission

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, and content (excluding job listings), is owned by Joblink io and protected by South African and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Joblink io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the preceding 12 months.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Joblink io, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that may harm other users or the Platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notice.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
